Week 1
vs.
San Francisco brings a talented young defense into this matchup. They should be able to shut down New York with ease. There is no way the Giants will be able to shut down the niners, and they should pick up a good first win.
San Francisco 24, New York 10

vs.
An important game for the Jets, they need to come out of the gate strong and beat the weak defense of the Bills. The problem is, neither defense is very good. Here's our first upset pick. Bledsoe will have a good game with his new receivers, Moulds and Price, and Henry will also be strong. Martin will put up good numbers, but weak play from Vinny is the difference.
Buffalo 17, New York 13

vs.
An important NFC North divison battle in week one will be decided in the end, if not overtime. Expect Rany Moss to decide to play in this one, at least that's what we're expecting. The Bears will get a good game from Anthony Thomas, but they will get nothing in the air. Expect both Chris Chandler and Jim Miller to come in and be unsuccessful. Another upset.
Minnesota 20, Chicago 16 ______________________________________________________
vs.
Cincinnati brings high hopes into this season, and they need a win in week one. San Diego has an extremely poor passing game, and the Bengals will be able to stack the line and limit Tomlinson's production. Dillon should walk all over this defense. Cincinnati's ninth ranked defense last year was underrated last year, and it looks even stronger this year. We'll see how it is in this game.
Cincinnati 21, San Diego 7

vs.
This should be a close game. Both teams have mediocre passing games, and both should have good running games. Kansas City has a slight advantage with Holmes, over Green, and it'll be a battle till the end.
Kansas City 14, Cleveland 10
vs.
Green Bay will overwhelm the Falcons in week one. Brett Favre can rip apart the Falcons secondary, and Ahman Green will run for a big game. Michael Vick will probably struggle, and that's not a good way to star the year.
Green Bay 28, Atlanta 6 ______________________________________________________
vs.
A very tough matchup between the Eagles and the Titans. Both teams have good defenses, but one has a better running back, and one has a better quarterback. McNabb is well suited to go against the Titans, while the Eagles could likely shut down George. Expect a close game.
Philadelphia 17, Tennessee 14 ______________________________________________________
vs.
Miami is going to have a great chance at starting out 1-0 this season. Ricky Williams should rip apart the Lions front line, and Fiedler should be able to hit Chambers alot for a big game. This is your blowout of the week.
Miami 35, Detroit 3 ______________________________________________________
vs.
One of th more low profile games of the week. Stephen Davis should get 125 yards or more, and score a few touchdowns. However, Jake Plummer should also be able to connect with Boston for one or more touchdowns. If Washington gets strong play from its quarterback, watch out.
Washington 24, Arizona 17 ______________________________________________________
vs.
This is a battle between what could be the two worst teams in the league. Baltimore has two bright spots, however, Ray Lewis and Jamal Lewis. Carolina also looks to have a great young runner in DeShaun Foster. Expect this to be a game with a lot of rushing, by both teams.
Carolina 13, Baltimore 7 ______________________________________________________
vs.
This should be an exciting game, with both teams having explosive offenses. Indianapolis appears to have just a little more, and, once again, Taylor has a good chance of going down injured.
Indianapolis 30, Jacksonville 23 ______________________________________________________
vs.
A battle between what looks to be the top two teams in the NFC South. Tampa has a stronger defense than New Orleans, but less offense. However, put the two together, and New Orleans comes out on top. In this matchup...not the division.
New Orleans 21, Tampa Bay 17 ______________________________________________________
vs.
In this matchup, expect Alexander to explode for big numbers. Trent Dilfer, on the other hand, will throw at least two interceptions. The Raiders will spread around the offense like they did last year and come away with the win.
Oakland 14, Seattle 10. ______________________________________________________
vs.
Two of thee NFL's most threatening offenses will hook up in week one. St. Louis' is substantially better, so look for them to win it in a high scoring affair. Good fantasy numbers all around for both team's star players.
St. Louis 31, Denver 27 ______________________________________________________
vs.
The Texas Showdown should be a good battle. Dallas' weak offense will prevent them from taking a big lead, but it will be there defense that wins the ball game. Poor offensive numbers all around.
Dallas 10, Houston 3 ______________________________________________________
Monday Night Football
vs.
Last year's AFC Championship game rematch. It won't have the same result. New England comes off what could've been the most surprising year ever. Pittsburgh's defense is just too strong, and Bettis and Co. will get just enough for the W.
Pittsburgh 10, New England 7 ______________________________________________________
