From Alex, West Virginia...
"I have the second pick in my league's draft. Figuring Faulk goes number 1, who should I take number 2? Thanks!"

Your two choices are Ahman Green and Shaun Alexander. Shaun Alexander has more potential but Ahman Green is more of a sure thing. Unless it's a keeper league, I would definately draft Green. NEXT!"

Brendan, New Jersey
"If you had the choice of any of the Big Three [Owens, Moss, Harrison] wide receivers, who would you choose and why?"

I would say Owens. Moss has more potential, but with a work ethic like the one he has, you never know if or when he's going to want to perform like he can. Owens is a big, strong receiver who can break tackles and make big plays out of nothing. Harrison is a great receiver too, but he doesn't seem to have the ability to be number 1. Owens is the sure thing. NEXT!

Jeff, Pennsylvania
"Which players coming off injury from last season do you think have the best bet to be valuable fantasy options?"

Well, there is a couple of players who could come back and make an immediate impact. Fred Taylor is probably the most valuable and risky player coming back. He has the ability to be a top 5 RB, yet the injury bug keeps us from ever seeing what he COULD do. Another player would be Ed McCaffery. He is a valuable asset to anybody's fantasy team and, unlike Taylor, he has not been known to get hurt, but to be one of the most durable WR in the league (Have you seen the hits he takes?, MAN!). Daunte Culpepper is another player coming off injury. He is very talented, has a good supporting offense, and definitely a top 5 QB. This is his first injury in the NFL and it wasnt VERY serious, so still consider him on your top 5 (maybe top 3) QB list. Edgerrin James,Terrel Davis,Jerome bettis, and Rod Smith are also players coming off injury. Edge, and Rod Smith are both elite players at their pos. so dont feel too worried about taking them early. Davis and Bettis are also decent RB coming back from injury and deserve a spot as your 3rd or 4th RB. NEXT!

Mike, Georgia
"Will Fred Taylor finally stay healthy this season, or can we expect him to go down in Game 1 again?"

He may get through eight or nine games without injury, but that does not mean you want him on your team He will get hurt, and when that is can't be determined. If you do draft him and he stays healthy for a few weeks, it might be a good idea to trade him to the "he'll be fine" person in your league before he breaks down"
